Use this space to talk with the others in your book club. Someone divide the book into 4 parts and post that here. Next week have the first 1/4 read and we'll do the clubbing.
The House of the Scorpion is already divided into 4 parts but they are not equal. We can either read it in these parts or divide it into about 10 chapters per reading. I am up for either. Thought whoever else is reading can give their votes too. What do you all think?
Hello Haveli ladies! I don't know about you guys, but I found this book to be both beautiful and enraging all throughout. I do know that I would love to read more by the same author! Also, I found the ending to be a little lackluster. It just seemed to kind of cut off. What did y'all think?
Also, I would love to meet up and talk about this book! My favorite part of most of the things I read is discussion!

ReplyDeleteI have read the first 20 Chapters so only 18 left for the 2nd half of the reading. It's really good!
DeleteSorry I have been MIA on the blog. I have been reading when I can. I am not quite halfway but I will be ready to participate tomorrow.

I think that works well. It's pretty even. It's not very long, so let's shoot for getting to page 82 by this weekend? What does everybody think?
